Steve Cram competing in the Olympics Nicky Surgenor
Steve Cram went to three Olympics, those of 1980, 1984 and 1988, winning a Silver medal in the 1984 1500 metres. In doing so he beat the Olympic record - but of course so did the winner, Seb Coe. He also reached the 1500 metres Finals in 1980 and 1988, finishing fourth in the latter.
